Colombia | March 2 – 7, 2026

Colombia has the highest density of bird species of any single country and is a hotspot for endemic species. Colombia is a significant biodiversity hotspot in the Western Hemisphere. Colombia is a country of birds, with a reported 1950 species, 113 at risk of extinction, and many more threatened by habitat loss and climate; you need to bird Colombia. Think Antpittas!

You’ll embark on an adventure that takes you through various microhabitat regions, each offering a unique birding experience. We’ll be on the chase for those endemics you’ll want for your life list. We’ll be birding across the country, from the Eastern Andes Mountains to the Western Providences.
