Recent Field Trip Photos

I’ve been birding from a very early age witnessing large fall Duck and Geese migrations over the state of Illinois. My first bird to remember was a Ruby-throated Hummingbird found in my mother garden. I didn’t have a camera back then. While in the military station in Fort Sill Oklahoma, I remember the Scissor-tailed Flycatcher, didn’t have a camera back then either, and so on. Now I have a camera and my photography is a big part of my daily birding routine. I use with a Nikon P900. I use a fix lens outfit because as a field trip leader, my focus is getting you in on the bird-chase. You seeing the bird is number one, discussing the bird while it is in our sight is number two. Third is trying to get a photo for myself. I welcome birders with long lens cameras on these small group venues. Please join a YBT  field trip to add to your photo collection.
